About the Role
This role provides expert clinical care, leadership, and education in the management of diabetes across inpatient and outpatient settings. The successful applicant will be expected to provide evidence-based, clinically sound, and holistic patient care in partnership with clients, their families, and other health professionals. Take an extended leadership role in coordinating nursing and healthcare within and across different care contexts to facilitate optimal health outcomes. Triage referrals, manage waitlists, and lead multidisciplinary meetings while collaborating with internal and external key stakeholders. Practice independently and interdependently with an extended scope of practice, autonomy, and decision-making, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions and delegation of care to registered nurses, enrolled nurses, and healthcare workers.

Requirements
- Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Demonstrated ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated evidence of integrating theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking, and analysis.
- Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritize competing workloads.

- $128,301.89 - $132,523.13 (pro-rata) + super
