About the Role
The Systems Architect role is crucial for reflecting market demands into future MCU products by designing the overall architecture, including CPU, bus architecture, memory configuration, peripheral functions, and power/clock configurations. This position involves optimizing feasibility, competitiveness, cost, and power consumption, and leading the realization of next-generation MCUs from concept to mass production in collaboration with hardware, software, and product planning teams. It's a challenging and impactful position where technical ideas directly influence product direction and market competitiveness.
Responsibilities
- Design the system architecture for microcontrollers (MCUs).
- Analyze market and customer requirements to define product specifications and system configurations for next-generation MCUs.
- Design the overall MCU architecture, including CPU, memory, bus, analog functions, communication functions, and security functions.
- Propose optimal hardware configurations considering performance, power consumption, chip area, and manufacturing costs.
- Evaluate and define specifications for new and peripheral functions.
- Promote product development in collaboration with semiconductor design engineers, software engineers, and product planning departments.
- Conduct technical reviews and make architectural decisions within development projects.
- Participate in the formulation of future MCU platforms and product roadmaps.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in semiconductor product development, such as MCUs, SoCs, or ASICs.
- Experience in digital circuit design, embedded software development, or system design.
- Knowledge of embedded system architecture, including CPUs, memory, buses, and peripheral functions.
- Experience in creating product specifications and requirement specifications.
- Experience in promoting product development projects in collaboration with related departments.
