About the Role

The Manager, Growth Mail is responsible for driving the growth strategy, execution, and continuous optimization of direct mail campaigns to acquire high-value customers for Factor. This role requires a balance of analytical rigor, creative vision, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

  • Define, manage, and scale new customer acquisition for Factor through direct mail campaigns.
  • Develop and execute direct mail marketing campaigns from concept to completion, including segmentation, creative development, production, and analysis.
  • Strategically allocate spend across direct mail campaigns to ensure maximum impact within budgetary constraints and seek cost-saving measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of direct mail strategies with overall marketing objectives.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of campaigns.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to continuously optimize campaign performance and drive improvements in response rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in direct mail marketing to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis on campaign performance, including key metrics and actionable insights.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the direct mail marketing calendar.
  • Serve as the primary direct mail point of contact for Finance and Legal regarding forecasting models, business plan submissions, contract negotiations, and invoice approvals.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of direct mail marketing experience, preferably in a manager or similar role.
  • Ability to look beyond immediate campaign metrics to map long-term channel roadmaps, evaluate white-space partner opportunities, and build partner segmentation frameworks.
  • Excel at leading through influence—driving alignment across Creative, Analytics, and Finance without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel or Google Analytics.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of campaign execution.
  • Thrive in a collaborative team environment and excel at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated by achieving measurable results and continuously strive to optimize campaign performance and ROI.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement in direct mail strategies and processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/ Google Suite.
  • Demonstrated experience managing direct mail campaigns from concept to execution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with direct mail best practices, including segmentation, creative testing, and response tracking.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Fluency in growth marketing KPI’s such as CAC, CPA, CPM, CVR, and LTV.
  • Hands-on experience building campaign spend forecasts, business plans, and financial scenario models.
