About the Role
The Head of RevOps works alongside commercial leadership to drive strategic execution, operational excellence, and sustainable revenue growth. This role focuses on improving commercial performance, enabling effective decision-making, and ensuring strategic priorities are successfully delivered. It also acts as a strategic partner to the Head of Revenue, supporting business planning, cross-functional execution, and revenue integration initiatives post-acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Partner with commercial leadership to improve execution across the end-to-end revenue lifecycle, identifying opportunities to increase productivity and operational effectiveness.
- Analyze commercial performance, pipeline health, and revenue trends to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Define and monitor key commercial performance metrics, ensuring leadership has clear visibility of business performance and execution against objectives.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and work cross-functionally to improve commercial processes and accelerate business outcomes.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Product, and Data teams to simplify commercial execution and reduce friction throughout the customer journey.
- Support strategic planning, forecasting, and business reviews by providing analysis, recommendations, and performance reporting.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating business challenges into practical, data-informed recommendations.
- Partner with sales leadership to improve commercial effectiveness and accelerate the execution of strategic priorities.
- Support onboarding, change initiatives, and continuous learning programs that improve adoption of best practices and commercial performance.
- Develop frameworks, playbooks, and guidance that enable consistent execution across revenue teams.
- Identify capability gaps and recommend initiatives that strengthen sales effectiveness and customer engagement.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure commercial teams have the resources, information, and support required to execute successfully.
- Partner with the Head of Revenue to develop and execute commercial strategy, annual operating plans, and key growth initiatives.
- Help identify strategic risks, dependencies, and opportunities, ensuring leadership remains focused on the highest-impact priorities.
- Lead strategic initiatives from planning through execution, coordinating stakeholders and driving accountability across functions.
- Support executive governance through leadership reviews, steering committees, and planning cycles.
- Foster collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Data to improve alignment, transparency, and execution.
- Ensure effective communication of strategic priorities across commercial leadership and the wider business.
- Support revenue integration initiatives following acquisition, working with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
- Track milestones, dependencies, and risks across strategic transformation programs, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Help establish consistent operating principles that enable successful organizational change while maintaining business continuity.
- Partner with executive leadership to balance short-term operational priorities with long-term strategic transformation.
- Monitor progress against integration objectives and support the delivery of planned commercial synergies.
