About the Role
In this three-year apprenticeship as a professional driver, you will be responsible for all tasks from goods delivery to goods collection. You will learn the specifics of different product groups in the fruit and vegetable, fresh, and dry/drugstore assortments. You will ensure that people have daily access to fresh organic food and that goods reach our customers properly.
Responsibilities
- Support in delivering goods to our customers and independent driving upon receipt of the driver's license (2nd year of apprenticeship)
- Goods receipt – acceptance and storage of products in the fruit and vegetable, fresh, and dry/drugstore areas
- Order picking/loading – insights into order picking processes and loading trucks with food packed on roll cages and load securing
- Route planning – supporting logistics dispatchers with daily route planning
Requirements
- Secondary school or good primary school leaving certificate
- Good grades in German, Mathematics, and English
- Enjoyment of an activity that involves constant movement
- Physical resilience and good technical understanding
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work in shifts – depending on the department, work may start between 3:30 AM and 4:00 PM, varying weekly
