About the Role

This role brings structure, foresight, and exceptional execution to the demanding pace of the CEO's work, which involves frequent interaction with Fortune 500 executives, investors, board members, candidates, and the press. It is a broader and more expansive position than a traditional Executive Assistant role, combining executive operations and personal logistics with relationship management, cross-functional coordination, and end-to-end project ownership. The goal is to make the CEO's office operate better and become increasingly proactive.

  • Arrange important CEO meetings and secure urgent international visas.
  • Develop strategic relationships.
  • Maintain a clear view of ongoing activities and anticipate next steps.
  • Consolidate decisions for the CEO and ensure work advances without close oversight.
  • Deliver exceptional external experiences for candidates, executives, investors, and partners.
  • Provide precise logistics, thoughtful communication, and calm recovery when plans change.
  • Protect relationships and the CEO's time during unexpected disruptions.
  • Facilitate access to important relationships by finding alternative outreach paths through mutual contacts or creative follow-up.
  • Combine persistence with judgment in pursuing relationship-building opportunities.
  • Coordinate founders’ associates, internal partners, and external vendors through a consistent operating cadence.
  • Implement daily priority summaries, weekly relationship reviews, and preparation standards for external meetings.
  • Conduct retrospectives for process improvement.
  • Make the CEO's office increasingly proactive to minimize CEO escalations.

  • Strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information and leadership-level communication.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
