Responsibilities
- Consistently demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Acquire knowledge to gain a full understanding of roles and the importance of leading by building a culture of excellence.
- Shadow a store manager and/or manager trainee to learn fundamental store operations, including preparing a presentation and report on an operational area for ALDI executives.
- Learn aspects of the Customer Satisfaction Pyramid while conducting customer walks and participating in store tours.
- Learn and understand all relevant store operations policies and procedures.
- Assist trainer with administrative tasks, including payroll, sales book, memo verification, and invoices, as well as hiring, interviews, and orientations.
- Assist with inventory and participate in a store reset and a grand opening if possible.
- Take initiative to create excellent store conditions and improve store associate performance and stock efficiency.
- Work closely with members of the assigned team to develop subject matter knowledge.
- Attend company/department/team trainings and meetings as appropriate.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism by demonstrating excellent attendance, adhering to company guidelines, and meeting objectives thoroughly and on time.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- In current pursuit of Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
