About the Role
ALDI is seeking motivated individuals for its District Manager Trainee program. This intensive 44-week training period prepares participants to oversee multiple ALDI stores, focusing on customer service, employee environment, operational excellence, and sales growth. Responsibilities
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to store management.
- Lead, develop, and supervise store manager teams to drive sales and achieve high performance.
- Support store management in fostering a positive working environment.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve operating results.
- Work with store managers to recruit, select, promote, and assign personnel.
- Confer with direct reports regarding advancement, discipline, or termination.
- Train and develop direct reports to achieve their maximum professional potential.
- Observe and evaluate store employees' work performance and provide feedback.
- Oversee the appropriate resolution of escalated employee and customer concerns.
- Understand and oversee execution of company strategy and core values.
- Communicate and interact effectively with all levels of employees, customers, and vendors.
- Review, investigate, and resolve issues within the district to minimize liability.
- Ensure store management compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Ensure store managers coach personnel on customer service guidelines and appropriate interactions.
- Model, communicate, and supervise compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensure a safe working environment by identifying and supervising the resolution of hazards.
- Supervise adherence to company expense, inventory, product handling, and cash handling policies.
- Ensure store managers effectively oversee personnel to maintain store standards and merchandising.
- Supervise the achievement of store KPI results and implement plans to achieve district goals.
- Plan and conduct meetings, training sessions, and other company events.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
