About the Role
The Retail Associate is a brand ambassador responsible for providing customers with a unique, customer-first shopping experience and driving sales by engaging with customers and making relevant merchandise suggestions.
Responsibilities
- Create an elevated, upbeat, welcoming experience for customers
- Drive and increase sales by connecting with customers and assessing needs
- Speak with knowledge and confidence about materials, styles, fit, fabrics, price, and trends
- Strengthen brand presence by encouraging customer engagement with social media and email lists
- Educate customers on brand history, products, offers, promotions, and events
- Process customer transactions efficiently with excellent point-of-sale/cash-handling accuracy
- Answer customer questions via phone or email
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, fitting rooms, and cash-wrap areas
- Execute operational processes including shipment processing, back stock replenishment, and inventory counts
- Communicate with internal teams and upper management regarding customer and product issues
- Ensure health, safety, and security rules are followed
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail with cash handling
Skills
