About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, top-notch Assistant Regional Director of Authorizations to join a stellar team and deliver exceptional results. We are a smart, collaborative, and fun place to work, committed to continuous improvement. This role offers training and support to build confidence and independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing assigned regions, including workload distribution, assignment of responsibilities, maintaining quarterly regional data, conducting ongoing team meetings, and overseeing team productivity & career progression.
• Review and audit packet submissions to insurance funders.
• Conduct peer reviews and appeal processes for authorization requests.
• Collaborate with Area Directors, Operations, and clinical teams for case-specific needs based on funder medical necessity criteria.

Requirements

• 1+ year as a BCBA
• Insurance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of healthcare communication regulations, privacy laws, and HIPAA, with the ability to apply these requirements appropriately.
• Must meet the recommendation of regional leadership.
