About the Role
We are looking for a motivated, top-notch Assistant Regional Director of Authorizations to join a stellar team and deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities
- Assist with managing assigned regions, including workload distribution, assignment of responsibilities, maintaining quarterly regional data, conducting ongoing team meetings, and overseeing team productivity & career progression.
- Review and audit packet submissions to insurance funders.
- Conduct peer reviews and appeal processes for authorization requests.
- Collaborate with Area Directors, Operations, and clinical teams for case-specific needs based on funder medical necessity criteria.
Requirements
- 1+ year as a BCBA
- Insurance experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of healthcare communication regulations, privacy laws, and HIPAA, with the ability to apply these requirements appropriately.
- Must meet the recommendation of regional leadership.
