About the Role
Join a landmark data centre project in Marsden Park, playing a key role in shaping site culture, influencing safe outcomes, and supporting the successful delivery of significant projects. As an HSE Advisor, you will be embedded within a major live project, partnering with teams, subcontractors, and leadership to implement HSE standards.
Responsibilities
- Support project teams to implement and continuously improve project HSE plans and systems.
- Partner with subcontractors, site teams, and key stakeholders to support safe work practices and project outcomes.
- Coach and influence safe behaviours across the project.
- Review SWMS, participate in toolbox talks, and verify that controls are effectively implemented on site.
- Monitor project HSE performance, provide practical advice, and support successful project outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience in a construction-based HSE role, ideally on large-scale projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility across all levels of a project team.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to engage stakeholders to achieve practical safety outcomes.
- Experience working within highly regulated construction environments and navigating complex stakeholder relationships.
- The confidence to challenge constructively when required and support teams without taking a policing approach to safety.
- A genuine commitment to creating safe workplaces and continuously improving project performance.
