Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one lessons using KeepSAfe guidelines.
- Provide vocal instruction (Group or Solo).
- Provide other musical instruction.
- Teach and/or lead Corps Brass Band and Singing Company.
- Secure, organize, maintain, and provide constant upkeep of all equipment, instruments, and files of the Corps music department.
- Facilitate student participation during “Music Sundays” (at least 1 Sunday per month).
- Prepare students for Divisional and Territorial “Star Search” music and arts competitions.
- Assist with logistics for competitions, including transportation, chaperoning, preparation, and leadership on the competition date.
- Encourage and support youth participation in Divisional music and arts programs.
- Ensure participants are ready for auditions, music camps, and conservatories.
- Availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays after school hours.
Requirements
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Must have basic office skills, including computer use.
- Must have musical ability in Brass Band, Theory, Vocal, and other Instrumental Instruction (e.g., Piano, Guitar, Bass).
