About the Role

A Pharmacy Technician - Strategic Response Team (SRT) contributes to AHF by demonstrating the competencies of a Level II Technician as described in the Scope of Practice and Responsibilities found in the AHF Pharmacy Policy, Procedure and Training manual. This role enhances the reputation of AHF by remaining sensitive to the “stigma” of PLWH and associated comorbidities, understanding the difficulty of treating chronic diseases, barriers to care, and the importance of patients’ needs to maintain anonymity and privacy. You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives, ensuring AHF core Values and Mission stay top of mind. The SRT will work as a part of a close knit team to establish and maintain good working relationships with healthcare providers, staff and referral sources to facilitate the exchange of patient demographics and medication treatment plans.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate competencies of a Level II Technician as described in the Scope of Practice and Responsibilities found in the AHF Pharmacy Policy, Procedure and Training manual.
Enhance the reputation of AHF by remaining sensitive to the “stigma” of PLWH and associated comorbidities.
Understand the difficulty of treating chronic diseases, barriers to care, and the importance of patients’ needs to maintain anonymity and privacy.
Be a passionate advocate for top initiatives.
Ensure AHF core Values and Mission stay top of mind.
Work as part of a close knit team to establish and maintain good working relationships with healthcare providers, staff and referral sources.

Requirements

State license of state applying to (if applicable)

PTCB (highly preferred)
