About the Role

A Clinical Pharmacist contributes to AHF by expanding primary care functions, including health promotion and disease prevention, such as administering vaccines, managing long-acting HIV treatments, diabetes monitoring, and nicotine reduction programs. This role enhances AHF's reputation by implementing best practices and ensuring consistent application of organizational processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Administer immunizations.
  • Manage diabetes and smoking cessation programs.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) programs.
  • Engage in collaborative drug therapy management.
  • Prescribe therapies such as PrEP and PEP where authorized.
