About the Role

The Shuttle Driver will transport passengers as a customer service element provided by the dealership. This role involves picking up or dropping off customers within the dealership's shuttle boundaries, recording all trips, ensuring vehicle condition, and providing friendly, safe service.

Responsibilities

  • Drive customers to various destinations while their vehicles are being repaired.
  • Keep a log of the trips, including customer names, destinations, and pickup locations.
  • Operate company equipment for communication with dispatchers.
  • Contact the dealership in case of service interruption.
  • Notify the department manager when the shuttle needs servicing.
  • Assist customers with entering and exiting the vehicle.
  • Test shuttle before and after shift to ensure proper working condition of lights, brakes, wipers, and tire pressure.
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values.
  • Perform other tasks as required by management.
  • Adhere to regulations outlined in Ontario’s Highway Traffic Act.
  • Keep apprised of all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws governing vehicle operation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence
  • Clear Driver’s Abstract
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in all aspects of customer service and people management
  • Professional appearance
