Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize all production equipment and utensils, ensuring they are free of contaminants.
- Maintain clean production floors by removing garbage and debris.
- Properly dispose of garbage, avoiding drains and using designated bins.
- Protect electrical components before pressure washing or rinsing equipment.
- Adhere to working procedures, using correct cleaning chemicals and concentrations.
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Report machinery problems to the Sanitation Lead Hand or Maintenance staff.
- Perform pre-operation and post-operation checks with team members.
- Complete sanitation checklists.
- Undertake special assignments from the QA Manager.
- Assist with production-related tasks as needed.
- Participate in root cause analysis.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a food manufacturing plant is advantageous.
- Good verbal and written English language skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-starter mentality.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
- Able and willing to work the graveyard shift.
