About the Role
Fuse Energy is seeking a Senior/Lead Backend Engineer to construct the core digital infrastructure for a next-generation energy company. This role involves working closely with product teams to engineer exceptional backend systems.
Responsibilities
- Construct a real-time digital twin of renewable generation and customer demand.
- Develop messaging interfaces with third-party providers.
- Build high-volume pipelines for processing customer energy consumption.
- Build the backend of a world-class energy app.
- Take ownership of projects, adapt to new business needs, and drive change.
Requirements
- Demonstrable excellence as a software engineer.
- Ideally 2+ years of experience.
- Proven ability to define and build complex systems.
- Hands-on experience shipping highly available production systems.
- Clear communication.
