About the Role
Maxan delivers high-quality interior solutions, specializing in demountable architectural wall systems and glazed office fronts for the industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors. We are seeking detail-oriented and results-driven Architectural Walls Technicians to join our growing team and support commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.
Responsibilities
- Install demountable architectural wall systems and glazed office fronts on commercial construction projects, working from project drawings and installation requirements.
- Prepare for installations by reviewing project information, confirming site conditions, and completing required measurements and layout.
- Complete wall, door, frame, and glazing installations with attention to fit, alignment, finish, and overall quality.
- Adapt installation methods and make field adjustments when site conditions or project requirements change.
- Prepare, modify, and fit materials and components as required to complete the installation.
- Identify installation concerns, material issues, and site conditions that require attention, and communicate them to the appropriate team members.
- Work safely and efficiently using the tools, equipment, and access equipment required for the job.
- Maintain an organized work area and properly care for company tools, equipment, and materials.
- Work cooperatively with supervisors, project teams, other trades, and site personnel to coordinate work and keep projects on schedule.
- Follow Maxan’s quality, safety, and site requirements while representing the company professionally on every project.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience with and knowledge of demountable architectural wall systems and Glazed Office Fronts in ICI construction is considered an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints.
- Valid Working at Heights certification.
- Valid Elevated Work Platform training certificate.
- Valid Powder Actuated Tools training certificate.
- WHMIS and Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps.
- Reliable transportation to various job sites in the GTA and surrounding areas.
- Must be a union member in good standing with Local 675 or willing to join.

Salary/Compensations
- Pay rate is based on union classification and the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
