About the Role
You will own how the product looks and behaves, including the interaction model, visual language, and design system. You will collaborate with the lead designer and PM, contributing to product direction and ensuring a high standard of user interaction and visual design.
Responsibilities
- Own the design system, including architecture, components, and motion.
- Establish and evolve the product's visual direction.
- Implement frontend polish in the codebase.
- Contribute to solving product problems and crafting the final design.
- Design for a dashboard used by technical and non-technical users to build, test, evaluate, and run LLM voice agents.
- Contribute significantly to a ground-up redesign of the dashboard.
Requirements
- Demonstrate visual work that is genuinely impressive.
- Have opinions on how software should look in the age of generative design.
- Have built a design system that made it into production.
- Possess depth in interaction design, including animations, loading states, and dense table behavior.
- Be comfortable with AI coding tools and implementing frontend polish.
- Have 4+ years of experience shipping web products, including time as a designer at an early-stage B2B SaaS company.
- Have experience working on hard surfaces like data-heavy dashboards, workflow tools, or configuration-based interfaces.
- Exhibit curiosity about the product and seek context from engineers.
- Demonstrate fluency with current design tools, including Figma mastery.
- Familiarity with design.md files and enforcing usage in an AI-driven environment.
