About the Role
Learn It Systems is seeking Title I Teachers to work in K-8 classrooms after school hours, focusing on providing high-quality education services in reading and mathematics to students in a small group learning environment. This role involves implementing program components and collaborating with school personnel and parents.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with school administrators and classroom teachers to identify Title I students.
- Planning and delivering effective instruction in a small group setting.
- Administering pre and post assessments.
- Consistent tracking of student progress and data.
- Effective classroom management.
- Escorting students to and from the Title I classroom.
- Providing a safe and positive learning environment.
Requirements
- Active and valid fingerprinting with NYCDOE.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Ability to go up and down stairs in a school building.
- Ability to stand frequently and raise arms above the head.
- Hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer.
- Presently eligible to work in the United States.
Skills
- Experience working with Title I students a plus.
