About the Role

Flex is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Manager to identify market signals, translate data into insights, and support senior leaders in making high-impact strategic decisions for a new independent company focused on digital infrastructure for AI data centers.

Responsibilities

  • Track market trends, competitive moves, and industry developments, briefing senior leadership on significant changes.
  • Lead market and competitive assessments, evaluating market attractiveness, risks, and decision criteria.
  • Build financial models for market sizing, white-space assessments, and scenario analysis to inform strategic planning and investment decisions.
  • Develop and maintain competitive landscape summaries and CEO-facing presentations.
  • Define research approaches, setting standards, sources, and methods for recurring and ad hoc work.
  • Validate findings for accuracy and rigor, including work produced by others.
  • Synthesize complex information into clear, actionable takeaways for executives.
  • Utilize AI-enabled research tools to enhance research depth, breadth, and insight quality.
  • Collaborate across functions to ensure strategic analysis is grounded in operational reality.
  • Contribute to the Office of the CEO's culture of intellectual honesty, collaboration, and impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or quantitative discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, equity research, strategy consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy.
  • Experience with financial modeling and market sizing.
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leadership.
