About the Role
B&H is seeking Photography Content Writers to create product descriptions, research products, and update the B&H website with accurate product information for photography and related products. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about current photography, video, and technology trends, with a working knowledge of various photography genres, camera systems, and gear matching.
Responsibilities
- Writes material which conforms to current B&H style and standards
- Organizes and prioritizes assigned products based on internal guidelines
- Responds to update requests to correct or modify product descriptions
- Stays informed on current market trends and technologies
- Able to research and quickly learn about new products
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of photography and related industry practices
- Strong writing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
- Past photography or industry-related experience to form an inherent knowledge base for talking about gear
- Excited about photography, have a strong working knowledge and unfettered curiosity, and would like to share information on gear and process with others
