About the Role
General Dynamics Electric Boat (GDEB) is seeking talented engineers to design, construct, and maintain the world’s most capable submarines. The Platform Systems Engineering department plays an important role in submarine development by driving cross-discipline technical integration and optimization. This role focuses on understanding complex systems, preventing failures, addressing operator needs, and ensuring systems meet U.S. Navy requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support engineering disciplines in resolving technical integration challenges.
- Develop and manage technical requirements.
- Support cross-functional interface development activities.
- Test ship systems.
- Manage technical risk efforts.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the Department of Defense.
