About the Role

The Propane Specialist is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to customers, including loading, unloading, and providing exceptional customer service. This role upholds high safety standards in propane handling and conducts regular vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, collect, load, and deliver propane products to and from containers.
• Initiate and conduct asset verification processes.
• Collect customer signatures/stamps and payments.
• Offer customers brochures with basic price lists and contact information.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Monitor and track propane inventory, tank levels, and container sizing using technology.
• Accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers.
• Complete and submit daily driver reports.
• Maintain equipment to high safety standards and report mechanical issues.
• Conduct pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections, and visual tank inspections.
• Collaborate with Dispatcher for routing and scheduling.
• Notify Dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling, or safety issues.
• Provide Propane tank installations in compliance with codes and safety policies.
• Identify and correct leaks from tank to equipment connections.
• Respond to customer emergencies.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Perform tank maintenance on spare tanks.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year job related (Propane) experience
• CDL Class A or B with Tanker & Hazmat Endorsements
• Clean drivers abstract
• Up-to-date DOT medical certification
• Willingness to rotate “on call” status during evenings and weekends
• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required.
• Will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future.

• $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
• Eligible for overtime pay
• Eligible for an on-call incentive stipend
