About the Role
The Senior Business Solutions Specialist will partner with a dedicated portfolio of business units, managing the full solution lifecycle from discovery to delivery and mentoring the NYC Specialist team.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned business units.
- Independently run discovery, scoping, and requirements-gathering sessions.
- Build and maintain business systems, automations, and workflows supporting label, marketing, and release operations.
- Write specs and requirements for integrations with internal Sony Music systems.
- Lead data migrations for assigned business units.
- Test solutions with end users and incorporate feedback.
- Share best practices with the broader team, contributing repeatable patterns and playbook content.
- Escalate architecture/platform-level questions to the Architect.
- Identify opportunities to centralize and standardize workflows across assigned BUs.
- Lead enablement and change-adoption efforts, training business users to use AI tools to solve their own problems.
- Define success metrics for initiatives and use adoption/usage data to evaluate outcomes.
- Ensure initiatives align with governance, privacy, security, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years in business/systems analysis, solutions consulting, or enterprise no-code/low-code platform administration.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage senior business stakeholders.
- Strong requirements-gathering, process-mapping, and documentation skills.
- Experience with data migrations.
- Comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects and business units.
- Extensive A.I. experience using tools such as Claude Cowork, ChatGPT Work, Google Gemini.
- Basic scripting, SQL, or automation-logic familiarity.
- Tool-agnostic and adaptable to learning new platforms.
- Experience leading change adoption or user enablement efforts within a business function.
- Comfortable defining measures of success and using data to evaluate outcomes.
