About the Role
The Financial Planning & Strategy (FP&S) team at Checkr drives strategic decision-making through financial and strategic analyses, and domain expertise. We are looking for Strategic Finance Senior Analysts to join our team, focusing on delivering actionable insights into business performance and optimizing resource allocation to accelerate growth. This role is pivotal in scaling our growth businesses.
Responsibilities
- Own revenue and opex models that set goals and measure business performance.
- Develop AI-powered workflows, automated analyses, and intelligence systems.
- Assess and define existing and potential future strategic priorities.
- Quantitatively validate and drive influence toward the highest revenue impact and ROI initiatives.
- Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations for go-to-market tactics, product features, budget allocations, and Board of Directors / investor materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Sales, Product, Finance, and Corporate Development.
- Contribute to long-range, annual, and quarterly planning processes.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience.
- Foundational experience in investment banking, private equity, or strategic finance/business operations is preferred.
- Experience with consumption-based business models is a meaningful plus.
- Proven track record of driving business outcomes through data analytics and financial insights.
- Experience building AI models, workflows, or automated analyses.
- Expert-level modeling ability, translating complex business drivers into clear frameworks.
- Experience with Adaptive, Claude, Lovable, Salesforce, BI tools (ie. Omni), SQL.
- Ability to identify problems proactively.
- A strong bias for action, resilience through ambiguity, and ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.
