About the Role

McGard LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in a manufacturing setting. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and upholding our commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

  • Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems.
  • Assembles, installs, or repairs wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
  • Inspects, operates, and tests machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Repairs or replaces defective equipment parts using hand and power tools and reassembles equipment.
  • Diagnoses mechanical problems and determines solutions using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
  • Provides technical assistance on new or existing equipment.
  • Understands and carries out routine written and oral instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Completes stock requisitions to maintain maintenance supply inventories.
  • Recommends and performs preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Performs Confined Space Entries following all necessary procedures and policies.
  • Assists in snow removal (shoveling, snow blowing, salting, truck plowing, etc.).
  • Participates as a member of the Company’s Fire Brigade Team and First Aid Team.

Requirements

  • Must be aware of and comply with related ISO/IATF procedures, as applicable.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with no violations.
  • Position requires individual to be capable of working throughout the facility, within reasonable accommodation.
  • Frequently required to walk and stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance.
  • Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.

Salary/Compensations

  • $24.00 - $31.00 per hour DOE
  • 10% shift differential
  • Time worked after 8 hours is paid at 1.5 times the regular rate
