About the Role
The State Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year-olds based on individual needs and program requirements, preparing children for Kindergarten and beyond. We seek change makers who are curious, inventive, and open-hearted.
Responsibilities
- Follow all licensing guidelines, company standards, and grant program requirements to ensure the daily care of every child.
- Accurately observe, assess, and plan for children.
- Effectively communicate with families.
- Implement curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children.
- Work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Requirements
- Associates in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related or an active CDA in Preschool.
- Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field.
- Ability to meet state requirements for education and center requirements.
