About the Role

Smoobu empowers everyday people to become successful entrepreneurs by helping them manage their vacation rentals simply and efficiently. This role strategically bridges the gap between commercial growth and product value, owning the strategic narrative of Smoobu's value on the website and in external communication. You will own and elevate core commercial campaigns while architecting product positioning, customer insights, and feature adoption frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product leadership to design and execute impactful Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for new features and integrations.
  • Lead external launch campaigns, channel coordination, and public-facing website positioning.
  • Act as the ultimate product authority within the Marketing team.
  • Establish frameworks, internal documentation, asset kits, and training materials to enable the wider marketing team to communicate new feature value consistently and accurately.
  • Partner closely with Product and CRM to design, launch, and optimize targeted, value-driven lifecycle communication that drives active use of key features, premium add-ons, and native integrations.
  • Define and scale our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and segmentations.
  • Translate complex technical software features into high-converting, value-driven benefits and foundational messaging frameworks for different host personas.
  • Lead qualitative and quantitative customer research to understand customer motivations and adoption barriers.
  • Translate competitive intelligence into clear strategic advantages for Smoobu.
  • Own the strategy, execution, and optimization of major annual commercial (discounted) campaigns, including Black Friday.
  • Drive measurable increase in adoption and expansion of key features and premium Add-ons.
  • Improve conversion rate from free trial to paid subscriber.
  • Launch new features smoothly with synchronized marketing messaging.
  • Successfully execute core promotional campaigns, meeting sign-up and revenue goals.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality work aligned with team and company goals.
  • Share new ideas and help turn them into results.
  • Learn quickly and improve continuously.
  • Proactively contribute to a supportive and open team culture, living core values.

Requirements

  • Bring proven experience (4+ years) in product marketing and hand-on experience commercial campaign management within a fast-growing B2B SaaS or Product-Led Growth (PLG) environment.
  • Have a track record of building positionings, segmentations, messaging, and adoption frameworks from scratch to drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Excel at uncovering deep qualitative and quantitative customer insights and translating them into strategies that resonate across diverse global audiences.
  • Have a deep understanding of the modern SaaS/PLG tool ecosystem and the proven ability to independently evaluate, implement, and manage marketing technology stacks.
  • Possess a commercial mindset with the ability to connect business objectives with customer value.
  • Highly dependable, strategic, and thrive when taking full ownership of your domain without needing constant direction.
  • Bring focus and clarity to your work while keeping solutions practical.
  • Feel energized by a dynamic, ever-changing environment and can prioritize effectively.
  • Check all the boxes - fantastic! But even if you meet most of the criteria and are excited to grow into the rest, we still want to hear from you!
