Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff.
- Adhere to menus and recipes, special dietary needs, correct portioning of food, food presentation, and proper serving methods as instructed by the executive chef.
- Attend to residents’ individual dietary needs when taking and delivering food orders from residents and their guests.
- Maintain comfort, privacy, and dignity of our residents.
- Work under the supervision of and take instruction from the executive chef and sous chef.
Requirements
- Ability to speak, read and write English.
- Must submit and pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests and meet all training and other applicable state and federal guidelines.
Skills
- Caring & compassionate attitude for others.
- Thorough understanding of sanitation and infection control practices.
- Strong customer service focus; ability to multitask.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, cooking, plating, culinary arts, and/or hospitality is preferred.
