About the Role
SP+ is an artificial intelligence company focused on creating checkout-free parking experiences using computer vision. We are the largest parking network in America and are reinventing parking to give people back their most valuable asset: time.
Responsibilities
- Perform facility maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed.
- Sweep and clean entrances, exits, stairwells, rails, booths, offices, and restrooms.
- Empty trash receptacles throughout the facility.
- Paint facility areas as directed.
- Replace burned-out light bulbs.
- Apply absorbent to oil spills.
- Submit requests for necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Check and ensure the proper operation and security of safety items like gate arms.
- Verify ticket spitters and gates are functioning correctly, have sufficient tickets, and display accurate time.
- Provide ticket and record gate counts to management.
- Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies.
- Complete garage/lot sweep sheets.
- Operate maintenance equipment such as automatic sweepers, scrubbers, weed eaters, lawnmowers, and electrical tools.
- Remove snow from entrance/exit ramps and designated areas.
- Report any observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to management.
- Practice customer service standards to ensure positive customer interactions.
- Assist customers as needed.
- Resolve customer complaints.
- Understand all aspects of operations and be available to cover other duties as needed, such as cashier or attendant.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance and wear the complete uniform during scheduled shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
- High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education.
- May require facility maintenance, electrical, and/or painting experience or skills training.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record if driving a company vehicle or on company business.
- Ability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
- Ability to speak clearly, listen, and get clarification.
- Ability to respond well to questions.
- Ability to write clearly and informatively.
- Ability to read and interpret written information.
