About the Role

The MOC Planner schedules maintenance events to ensure regulatory compliance, manages aircraft routing, and coordinates repositioning for maintenance needs, including during irregular operations.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule required maintenance within specified limits (calendar, flight-hour, flight cycle).
  • Collaborate with the SOC to manage routing changes and schedule maintenance events within time intervals.
  • Ensure planned maintenance is correctly scheduled after any swap/reroute event.
  • Respond to requests for deferred/busted tasks and reschedule maintenance to maintain compliance.
  • Track accomplishment of various maintenance items (Aircraft Service Checks, MELs, LTDs, CDL, GMM) and coordinate execution.
  • Assist with recovery plans during system operation disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with and track aircraft to designated maintenance locations.
  • Accomplish aircraft repositioning for maintenance needs, completing necessary forms and transmitting documents.
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify operational issues impacting maintenance ground time.
  • Provide a written Turnover report to the oncoming Planner and MOC Duty Manager.
  • Coordinate with business partners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One year of aviation experience in Aircraft Maintenance or TechOps.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and Service Bulletins (SBs).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Must stay current on all required training.
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%).
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country.
  • Authorization to work in the US is required.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant license (Preferred)
