About the Role
Ensemble Schools is seeking a part-time strings instructor to teach violin, viola, and cello at Grace Music School in Fort Salonga, Northport, NY. The ideal candidate will instruct in person and have a strong music background, a love of teaching, and experience with young musicians.
Responsibilities
- Teach violin, viola, and cello in person.
- Instruct students of all ages.
- Provide an enriching learning experience for students.
Requirements
- Strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
- Demonstrated love of teaching.
- Experience working with young musicians.
- Robust appreciation for punctuality.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a routine background check.
