About the Role

The Gas Power Configuration Management (CM) organization transforms product requirements and engineering design intent into actionable product definition, including logical bill of material (BOM) product structure and product features. This role leads the Heavy Duty New Units Material Shipped Direct (MSD) vendoc collection globally, managing contracted resources and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all work adheres to GE policies, engineering standards, and security requirements.
  • Lead the end-to-end Vendoc process, including scope definition, collection, technical validation, and release within PLM systems.
  • Act as a central point of contact for global teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure project deliverables meet expectations.
  • Manage global headcounts and budgets to meet Order to Remittance (OTR) requirements for Heavy Duty New Units.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, lead third-party contractor oversight, and manage contract fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with IT to optimize tool integration across PLM, ERP, and tracking systems to drive technological efficiency.
  • Utilize Lean methodologies (Kaizen, Daily Management) to identify process improvements, reduce non-value-added efforts, and eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Lead cross-functional programs, develop risk mitigation plans, and ensure all schedule, budget, and quality requirements are met.
  • Prepare and present technical data and status updates to leadership (EB+), providing actionable recommendations for scheduling and business strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Computer Science.
  • 3 years’ experience in a technical leadership role within a Project Management domain.
  • 8 years’ experience in Engineering or project management or supply chain discipline.
  • For roles in Mexico Bachelor’s degree.
