About the Role

Austin Gastro, powered by GI Alliance, is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide outpatient services under physician supervision. This role focuses on delivering superior, individualized patient care within a successful private practice setting, supported by GI Alliance's robust business and organizational infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician
• See approximately 12 patients per full clinic day, including new and follow-up patients
• Complete patient histories and physicals
• Determine tentative diagnoses and order appropriate laboratory tests
• Counsel patients and families on health and disease
• Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements for credentialing
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
• Experience working as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
• Comfortable working in a busy and thriving practice required

Skills

• Gastrointestinal experience preferred
