About the Role
Austin Gastro, powered by GI Alliance, is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide outpatient services under physician supervision. This role focuses on delivering superior, individualized patient care within a successful private practice setting, supported by GI Alliance's robust business and organizational infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician
- See approximately 12 patients per full clinic day, including new and follow-up patients
- Complete patient histories and physicals
- Determine tentative diagnoses and order appropriate laboratory tests
- Counsel patients and families on health and disease
- Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements for credentialing
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
- Experience working as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
- Comfortable working in a busy and thriving practice required
Skills
- Gastrointestinal experience preferred
