- Build and execute an outbound prospecting motion via email, LinkedIn, and calling.
- Identify prospect needs that are not met by the current Hackathon product.
- Utilize AI coding tools to prototype solutions for identified gaps.
- Assess technical feasibility and determine when a solution cannot be reasonably provided.
- Provide structured input to the product and engineering teams based on field learnings.
- Accurately forecast sales and manage pipeline discipline in the CRM.
- Help define the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and messaging for Hackathon.
- Document successful sales processes to create a repeatable playbook for future AEs.
- Contribute to the selection and implementation of the sales tech stack.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to refine positioning, packaging, and pricing.
- Provide feedback on pricing and packaging based on objections and win/loss patterns.
- Assist in recruiting future sales hires.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales experience.
- Proven track record of self-sourced pipeline and closed-won revenue.
- Prior experience as an early or founding sales hire, or strong interest in building process from scratch.
- Genuine hands-on comfort with modern AI coding tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT).
- Sufficient technical fluency to assess feasibility (e.g., quick scripts, API integrations, engineering lifts).
- Strong outbound prospecting skills.
