About the Role
82nd Street Academics is seeking part-time Teacher Assistants for its 2026 Summer Programs, supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels. The programs run through July and August, offering enrichment activities like arts and crafts, sports, field trips, and leadership opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Support student participation in high-quality programming under the guidance of Lead Teachers and Site Director.
- Serve as role models for students.
- Monitor attendance and implement engagement strategies to increase daily attendance.
- Adhere to policies regarding attendance, punctuality, dress code, and respectful interactions.
- Communicate with families regarding concerns and foster strong partnerships within the school community.
Requirements
- Plan towards college graduation.
- At least one year of experience working with students in a professional setting.
- Commitment to the program through mid-August is required.
- Interested candidates should respond with their resume in PDF format.

- Bilingual fluency in Spanish (preferred).
