About the Role

We are seeking a Consultant Commodity Trading & Risk Management to join our Risk & Regulatory division. You will work in international teams to advance commodity management for our clients, considering "Net Zero" goals and focusing on traditional and new commodities like hydrogen and weather derivatives. You will advise clients from strategy to implementation, covering areas like energy generation, Power Purchase Agreements, and hydrogen infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on advancing commodity management, considering "Net Zero" goals.
  • Work in international teams on commodity management strategies.
  • Advise clients on commodity management strategy to implementation.
  • Consult on short- and long-term measures including energy generation, Power Purchase Agreements, and hydrogen infrastructure.
  • Provide comprehensive consulting and auditing in commodity management, covering strategy, organization, processes, governance, compliance, ESG, and IT.

Requirements

  • Completed university degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Engineering, Physics, or Energy Economics.
  • Relevant consulting experience in commodity management or at the interface between business and IT.
  • Experience in raw material purchasing, trading, or accounting is advantageous.
  • High level of technological understanding and IT application and development skills.
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
