About the Role

Help shape the future of healthcare and life science logistics. Mercury moves shipments that matter — diagnostic kits, medical devices, and life-saving materials that fuel innovation in healthcare and life sciences. This role is hands-on, fast-moving, and essential to helping clients achieve what matters most.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for clients via email, phone, and portal to ensure smooth shipment movement.
  • Recommend the right service level based on urgency, temperature, and risk.
  • Coordinate with carriers and internal partners to resolve issues and keep shipments on track.
  • Track shipments in real time, anticipate potential delays, and communicate updates proactively.
  • Review domestic and international documents for accuracy, compliance, and customs readiness.
  • Utilize the internal Transportation Management System and Mercury CRM to maintain data integrity.
  • Partner with teammates, carriers, and operations leadership to identify process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, customer support, or operations (healthcare or life sciences experience is a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under tight deadlines.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a high sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable learning new tools and systems in a startup environment.
  • Positive, team-oriented, and driven to continuously improve.
