About the Role

We are recruiting females aged 18-40 to work as Standardized Patients (SPs) for the NAC Assessment, an Objective Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE) for Internationally Educated Medical Graduates (IMGs). SPs are trained to portray clients in various medical situations based on real-life scenarios in a standardized manner.

Responsibilities

  • Portray clients in a variety of medical situations based on real-life scenarios.
  • Reproduce simulation consistently.
  • Complete a 90-minute dry run of their specific role with a Chief Examiner.
  • Calibrate with other SPs from the same station to finalize standardization of affect and content.
  • Be prepared to be off script during the dry run.

Requirements

  • Must be female, aged 18-40.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Able to convey ideas and emotions.
  • Reliable, courteous, non-judgmental, and professional.
  • Accepts constructive feedback and adjusts accordingly.
  • Able to follow detailed instructions.
  • Experience scoring or providing feedback to participants.
  • Improvisational skills.
  • Attendance at training and dry runs is mandatory.
