About the Role
Support expert teams in Finance and Treasury Management with new approaches and participate in audit and consulting projects. Gain insights into liquidity planning, cash management, working capital management, bank management, financial risk management, commodity risk management, treasury accounting, and financial market regulation. Contribute to M&A transactions and the digital transformation of treasury functions. Participate in service development, sales and marketing initiatives, client visits, and results presentations. Thesis support is available.
Responsibilities
- Support expert teams in Finance and Treasury Management with new approaches.
- Participate in audit and consulting projects.
- Support the development of a Treasury function.
- Analyze and develop existing strategies, processes, methods, and IT systems.
- Gain insights into liquidity planning, cash management, working capital management, bank management, financial risk management, commodity risk management, treasury accounting, and financial market regulation.
- Contribute to M&A transactions (Treasury Due Diligence, Post Deal Services).
- Participate in the digital transformation of Treasury functions.
- Assist in the preparation and implementation of service developments, sales and marketing initiatives, client visits, and results presentations.
- Support with thesis work.
Requirements
- Studying at least in the third semester of a Bachelor's degree.
- Focus of study in economics, (business) mathematics, (business) computer science, (business) engineering, or physics.
- Interest in Treasury organization, financial risk management, payment transactions, cash management, financial mathematical models, accounting for financial instruments, or Treasury IT.
- Ideally, possess initial practical experience through internships, working student positions, or project work.
- Excellent presentation, contact, and communication skills in German and English.
- Customer-oriented work approach.
- Willingness to travel within Germany.
- Availability for an internship of at least three months (shorter duration may be considered in combination with a subsequent working student position).
