About the Role
Sierra is building a platform to enable companies to create better customer experiences with AI. The Public Sector team is seeking to hire a founding member to help redefine the relationship between the US government and its citizens by bringing industry-leading AI technology to public sector partners.
Responsibilities
- Design and build production-grade AI agents for government institutions at the Federal and state level.
- Partner closely with industry leadership to build the public sector team, including capture motion, market strategy, and product components.
- Work closely with institutions to understand their needs and identify opportunities for expanded impact.
- Guide the evolution of Sierra's core platform by surfacing unmet needs, prototyping new tools and features, and collaborating with research, product, and platform teams.
Requirements
- Full stack software development skills and familiarity with AI development processes.
- Passion for public sector work and belief in the potential of institutions to transform constituent outcomes.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Ability to coordinate directly with public servants to understand their workflows.
