About the Role

Williamsburg Charter High School is seeking an energetic, motivated, and inspiring coach for its high school co-ed school day and after-school sport/club programming during the school year. The coach will enforce discipline, nurture student needs, and model sportsmanlike behavior.

Responsibilities

  • Work under the direct supervision of the Youth Development Manager.
  • Plan, organize, and deliver an appropriate range of sports activities and programmes for students.
  • Supervise students during after-school club, lunchroom games, events, and activities.
  • Teach relevant skills, tactics, and techniques.
  • Escort students to and from practices and games.
  • Store, distribute, and collect materials/equipment.
  • Follow all safety and school/league protocols.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of coaching experience in a sport.
  • CPR/AED Certification.
  • Concussion Training.
