About the Role
The Tax Change Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining the overall change management plan and supporting deliverables. The goal of this role is to develop and execute a holistic change management strategy that successfully transitions key stakeholder groups from current to future state. This role collaborates with Change Management leaders and colleagues, operations, product teams, IT, other functional areas across RSM, and the field, as needed. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success leading high-performance teams, strong data analytics capabilities, a continuous improvement mindset, and a deep passion for the digital transformational journey.
Responsibilities
- Manage change throughout the assigned project/initiative under the direction of the change management leader.
- Understand the application of the change management framework and supporting tools.
- Create and maintain the change management plan and its supporting deliverables.
- Assess proposed changes, outline a change plan, and implement change management.
- Ensure on-time delivery of change materials.
- Coordinate, apply, and track change management tools or activities.
- Facilitate conversations to ensure comprehensive understanding of topics and refine deliverables based on outcomes.
- Support the project team/field resources to analyze and develop proposed actions in response to feedback.
- Actively pursue opportunities to increase change management acumen.
- Help transition work from project/product teams to operations/business teams.
- Serve as a Performance Advisor, including feedback, coaching, goal setting, and training.
- Act as the primary liaison to the change sponsor, project manager, leadership, project team, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Requires a minimum of five (5) years’ experience working with leadership, managing managers and individual contributors.
- Requires a minimum of five (5) years’ experience working on initiatives that require formal Change Management plans / deliverables.
- Results driven; high integrity; ability to influence, negotiate and build relationships; superior communications skills; make complex decisions and manage change.
- Effective cross-channel communication skills for differing audiences and situations.
- Requires prior public accounting experience with mid to large size firm(s) or other professional services experience.
Skills
- Creative, out-of-the-box thinker and problem-solving experience to assess, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
- Excellent analytical skills, extraordinary attention to detail, and ability to present recommendations to product teams based on trends and patterns.
- Experience and passion for talent development, and proven experience leading teams through change and digital transformation.
- Passion for digital transformation and providing exceptional experiences both internally for our employees and externally for clients and prospects.
- Strong ownership, bias to action, and know-how to succeed in ambiguity.

Salary/Compensations
- $102,800 - $176,000
