About the Role

The Field Support team provides excellent service to field personnel regarding one or more disciplines. The Sr Field Support Specialist offers comprehensive service to multiple lines of business and assists with complex agent situations, while also providing training and mentorship to team members. Employees are required to accurately record all hours worked and submit timesheets in accordance with company policy. Overtime may be assigned as business needs dictate, and employees are expected to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

Answers telephone calls promptly providing solutions to the caller’s questions.
Answers emails promptly providing solutions to the writer’s questions.
Documents content of calls and emails.
Contacts new agents/agencies to confirm set up and familiarize with resources.
Participates in project teams for assigned system development, enhancement, testing, and training.
Assists with training of new team members.
Works on special projects as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Four to six years of experience.
Minimum of four years of customer service experience.
Knowledge of insurance required; in-depth knowledge of lines of business for multiple disciplines.
Experience with insurance operating systems; in-depth knowledge of operating systems for multiple disciplines.
