About the Role

This is a remote sales position focused on increasing sales for the Code 3 product line within an assigned territory. The role involves identifying new account opportunities, creating product packages, managing customer accounts, and staying informed about market trends and competition. The Regional Sales Manager will be a product expert, fully knowledgeable of features, functionality, benefits, and competitive impact.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the Code 3 product line professionally to promote sales growth and a positive reputation.
  • Interface directly with customers to promote and sell Code 3 products and/or services.
  • Drive continuous sales growth and attain expected margins for the assigned territory.
  • Represent the company at customer visits, trade shows, seminars, and meetings.
  • Coordinate the accurate input and processing of purchase orders.
  • Obtain and manage bids and special pricing, negotiating and obtaining approvals.
  • Conduct ongoing training for distributor salespeople.
  • Develop intimate knowledge of end users and distribution channels within the territory.
  • Oversee the 'test and evaluation' program with major accounts.
  • Stay current on product pricing, operation, and new product training.
  • Complete monthly reports on territory status, including successes, failures, and needs.
  • Actively participate in budget establishment.
  • Continually update customer database.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, business, or related field, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related sales experience.
  • Experience working with wholesale distribution, key accounts, and manufacturers rep. agencies.
  • Ability to build strong business relationships internally and externally at any level.
  • Experience using CRM systems and maintaining up-to-date customer contact and opportunity information.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with clear, professional, and personable written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Strong ethics and integrity.
  • Independence and motivation to seek new sales opportunities with little direct supervision.
  • Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
  • Computer literacy with Windows and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to continually improve product knowledge and skillset.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
