About the Role
Visions Federal Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic analysis. This role provides forward-looking financial insights to support balance sheet management, liquidity planning, deposit strategy, and key organizational decisions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support financial budgeting models, including assumptions documentation, scenario analysis, and variance reporting.
- Partner with business leaders and Finance leadership to gather budget inputs, answer budgeting questions, and support timely, accurate planning processes.
- Prepare financial analysis related to income statement performance, balance sheet trends, liquidity, investments, and funding strategies.
- Develop reports, analysis, and materials for ALCO, executive leadership, and internal committees.
- Collaborate with Deposit Strategy and other internal partners to support deposit initiatives, pricing strategies, and growth scenarios.
- Support liquidity stress testing and provide backup support for ALM modeling and reporting.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field, plus 1–3 years of relevant experience; 3–5 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with detailed financial models and data analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and standard office technology.
- Strong analytical, organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree, experience with derivative instruments, and advanced Excel modeling experience are preferred.
