About the Role

Rystad Energy is seeking students graduating in December 2027 or May 2028 to join our expanding consulting team in New York. Interns will work on challenging assignments requiring rigorous analysis to drive insights and conclusions, engage closely with clients, and deploy knowledge quickly across various energy sectors.

Responsibilities

• Work as members of project teams and/or on special projects.
• Undertake challenging assignments requiring rigorous analysis to drive insights and conclusions.
• Engage closely with clients.
• Learn and deploy knowledge quickly.
• Work across energy sectors including traditional oil and gas, midstream infrastructure, and energy transition sectors such as renewables, hydrogen, and carbon capture and storage.
• Work primarily at the Rystad Energy office in New York.
• Potentially travel to client sites as required.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree.
• Strong academic track record in a relevant field (engineering, finance, economics, etc.).
• Proven analytical, quantitative, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in learning about the energy industry and the energy transition.
• Must use a Windows PC to apply due to potential difficulties for MacOS users.
