About the Role
Precision Neuroscience is developing the highest-resolution brain-computer interface (BCI) ever created, designed to restore communication and independence for people with neurological conditions. We are seeking a Senior Director of Brand & Communications to lead strategic communications, shape public presence, and drive internal and external messaging, media relations, content creation, and executive communications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an integrated PR and media strategy to enhance brand visibility.
- Oversee and manage Precision’s relationship with external PR and branding agencies.
- Build and manage relationships with journalists, media outlets, and key industry influencers.
- Develop internal communication materials and initiatives, including staff orientation, training materials, company history, internal communication policies, and executive updates.
- Craft clear and consistent internal messaging regarding company news, strategy updates, policy changes, and cultural initiatives.
- Work closely with Executive Leadership to craft Precision’s brand image, messaging, and communication strategies.
- Craft compelling blog posts, op-eds, white papers, and articles to highlight Precision’s technology and leadership.
- Oversee all multimedia content including website, videos, podcasts, and social media, as well as photo and video shoots.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of progressive communications, brand, or marketing leadership experience.
- At least 3 years in a tech company (not agency-only), ideally at a Series C, pre-IPO, or IPO stage company during a period of rapid growth or repositioning.
- Demonstrated experience building a communications function from an early stage.
- Proven ability to translate technical subject matter into compelling, accessible narratives for non-technical audiences.
- Strong editorial instinct and the ability to write at a high level.
- Experience managing brand and PR agencies effectively.
- Track record of meaningfully growing social media presence and content output for a B2B or deep-tech brand.
