About the Role

The Store Team Leader (STL) is responsible for all aspects of daily operations at a Kitchen Hub location, ensuring operational standards and processes deliver consistency and convenience for customers. The STL builds and maintains relationships with restaurant partners, manages facility operations, and oversees the financial health of their store.

Responsibilities

  • Leads by example and actively manages their team.
  • Creates the weekly schedule in line with labor targets.
  • Participates in the recruitment process to build a talent-rich team.
  • Supports people programs and policies, holding self and team to high standards.
  • Develops team members through mentoring, coaching, and accountability.
  • Maintains the Customer Service Promise by modeling and coaching exceptional customer service.
  • Ensures prompt and professional resolution of all customer issues.
  • Identifies barriers to exceptional customer service and finds solutions.
  • Transforms less-than-perfect customer experiences into amazing ones.
  • Builds and maintains positive and trusting relationships with restaurant partners.
  • Resolves urgent issues in a timely manner or escalates them appropriately.
  • Follows up to ensure successful issue resolution.
  • Creates a sense of community and inclusion within the facility.
  • Manages all operational line items on the P+L to meet and exceed budget expectations.
  • Optimizes operational processes for a fun, efficient, and customer-focused environment.
  • Manages the retail program, including ordering, receiving, analysis, and inventory counts to meet COGS budget.
  • Uses data and feedback to find operational efficiencies without compromising quality.
  • Holds self and team accountable for maintaining operational standards.
  • Makes quality decisions to drive sales for Kitchen Hub and restaurant partners.
  • Educates the team on budget consciousness.
  • Identifies and pursues opportunities to generate more ideal customers.
  • Increases brand awareness in the neighborhood.
  • Uses data to understand the business and make effective decisions.
  • Maintains a facility that meets Health and Safety standards and complies with health code regulations.
  • Leads the Health and Safety Committee.
  • Uses and enforces the Facilities Ticket process.
  • Reports all onsite accidents immediately to Human Resources.
  • Manages and troubleshoots onsite tech issues.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience managing in a retail, hospitality, or restaurant environment.
  • Experience managing a minimum of 8 direct reports in a retail, hospitality, or restaurant environment.
  • Experience managing all, or part, of a P&L, an inventory process, and COGS.
  • Successfully managed a labor budget.
  • Understands the importance of being an excellent communicator and demonstrates this ability in both verbal and written forms.
  • Master prioritizer with exceptional time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and operate new technologies.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace.
  • Ability to be mobile for up to 8 hours and lift up to 30lbs.
